Web Intelligence Rich Client is a desktop application for interactive reporting and analysis. It lets business users create, open, and refresh Web Intelligence documents without a web browser, with the option to work offline and reconnect to enterprise data when back online. A drag-and-drop query panel provides access to governed semantic layers (universes) as well as local sources like spreadsheets or CSV files. You can shape insights with tables, charts, sections, conditional formatting, filters, ranking, input controls, and custom formulas, then drill into details to answer follow-up questions on the fly. Finished reports can be exported to formats such as PDF and Excel, or published to a BI platform for collaboration and version control. Designed for self-service analytics, Web Intelligence Rich Client combines the flexibility of a desktop tool with the consistency of centrally managed data and security.
